What is Fairbanks Mutual Aid?

Fairbanks Mutual Aid is a local volunteer organization that was just formed by your neighbors to help deal with our current crisis.

It is looking more and more like we will be distancing ourselves physically over the next few weeks. Instead of sitting here feeling concerned/scared, we are hoping to connect with our neighbors. We know some of you, and others we have only seen on the street in our neighborhood. Either way, we can be resources to support each other during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are thinking it will be useful to be in contact with each other to help with getting groceries, medications, plumbing or electrical, figuring out child care, and anything else that comes up. We don’t think many of us have been through a pandemic, so let’s figure it out together!
